Hail, Columbia!

I am pleased to announce that in the fall I will be joining the faculty at the University of South Carolina's School of Journalism and Mass Communication, where I will be teaching media law.

I'm looking forward to moving to Columbia, South Carolina, and to the opportunities that U.S.C. (no, not that U.S.C.) provides for my teaching, scholarship, and continuing work in media law.

I'd also like to thank the faculty and staff at Louisiana State University, who have been supportive during my time as co-director of the Press Law and Democracy Project in the Manship School of Mass Communication.

And, starting in the fall, if anyone's driving up or down I-95, drop me a line and take a little detour to say hi.
