What is the difference between domain and workgroup?

Workgroup

     Domain

A workgroup is a peer-to-peer computer network.

A domain is a Client/Server network.

A Workgroup can consist of maximum 10 computers.

A domain can consist up to 2000 computers.

Every user can manage the resources individually on their PCs.

There is one administrator to administer the domain and its resources.

All the computers must be on the same local area network.

The computer can be on any network or anywhere in the world.

Each computer must be changed manually.

Any change made to the computer will reflect the changes to all the computers.
