सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा ओबीसी (2019-20) के संसदीय समिति की सिफारिशों की स्वीकृति के परिणाम स्वरूप, जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय चयन परीक्षा(JNVST-2021) के माध्यम से कक्षा छठी में प्रवेश के लिए आरक्षण नीति में आंशिक संशोधन किया गया है। शैक्षणिक सत्र 2021-22, ओबीसी छात्रों को आरक्षण के प्रावधान के साथ। शैक्षणिक सत्र2021-22 से जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय में कक्षा छठी तक प्रवेश में ओबीसी छात्रों को आरक्षण का प्रावधान और उसके बाद के तहत किया जाएगा
उसी के लिए अधिसूचना एनवीएस वेबसाइट पर प्रदर्शित की गई है कक्षा 6 के लिए जेएनवीएसटी 2021 का परिणाम ओबीसी उम्मीदवारों के आरक्षण को शामिल करने के बाद घोषित किया गया है। अब OBC Quota के तहत कक्षा VI में प्रवेश के लिए अनंतिम रूप से चयनित कैंडिडेट्स को प्रवेश के समय OBC प्रमाणपत्र जमा करना होगा I सक्षम प्राधिकारी द्वारा यह निर्णय लिया गया है कि OBC आरक्षण कोटा सार्ट के विरुद्ध चयनित उम्मीदवारों द्वारा उत्पादित किए जाने वाले OBC प्रमाणपत्र का प्रारूप वही होगा जो भारत सरकार के पिछड़ा वर्ग के National आयोग की वेबसाइट पर उपलब्ध है। प्रारूप की नमूना प्रति लिंक में संलग्न है।
यह भी स्पष्ट करना है कि समय-समय पर लागू होने के अनुसार, OBC छात्रों को आरक्षण केंद्रीय सूची के अनुसार लागू किया जाएगा।
