Who Can Do CA?
Any Student can join for CA in Pakistan with following criteria:
However, there is no bar for graduates to choose this stream. Requirements are Following:
- Higher Secondary School Certificate with minimum 50% marks.
- A Levels with minimum two passes, or equivalent qualification.
- Graduates with minimum 45% marks.

Board of CA in Pakistan:
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan ( ICAP ) is a regulatory body of Chartered Accountancy in Pakistan which conduct examinations for CA. Only ICAP has the legal authority of offering CA. ICAP can provide the certification of CA in Pakistan.
ICAP conducts the exams of CA all over the pakistan. Exams are checked by ICAP itself.
How Much Does it Cost in Pakistan:
ICAP has different types of Fee given below:
- Annual Subscription Fee = 2000
- Registration as Student Only = 17,500
- Registration as Trainee = 22,700
- Exemption Fee for AFC per Paper = 3,900
- Exemption Fee for CAF per Paper = 4,700
- CFAP Per Paper = 7,300
- MSA Two Papers = 18,600
- PCSC = 1,900

How Long is CA Course in Pakitan:
As all the students of Chartered Accountancy knows very well there are 4 stages in CA. To qualify as a chartered accountant, Students must have to pass all the 4 stages to become a chartered accountant.
Chartered Accountant. So, I am here to tell you the total duration of CA in Pakistan.
CA is not Degree, So, its exact time is not mentioned anywhere. It all depends on the students intelligence and their skills and also their interest, that how much they are interested in Chartered Accountancy. The more interested student is better than a normal student. Normally for an average student, the board of Chartered Accountancy ( Institute of Chartered Accountancy) describes that a normal student can qualify as a chartered Accountant in 5.5 years. This duration is not Obvious because Duration depends upon your subjects passed in one attempt. It varies from Stage to Stage. Every stage has its own duration.

Assessment of Fundamental Competencies ( AFC) :
In this stage ( First stage of CA in Pakistan), there are 4 subjects which a Student has to pass to move on to next stage.
Subjects of first stage are Following:
- Functional English
- Introduction to information technology
- Business Communication
- Quantitative Methods Tecqniques
Its total duration to pass 4 subjects is 6 months. A normal or average student can can easily pass these 4 subjects in 6 months.
Its papers are conducted after every 3 months ( 4 times in a year).
Introduction to Accounting
Introduction to Accounting Introduction to Economics And Finance. Business Law Business Management and Behavioral Studies. Financial Accounting and Reporting 1 Principles of Taxation Financial Accounting and Reporting 2 Cost and Management Accouting Audit and Assurance
Certificate in Accounting and Finance ( CAF) :
This is the second stage in the field of Chartered Accountancy. I t includes 9 subjects to move on to the next stage:
For an average student, It takes 1.5 years to pass the 9 subjects. Students can easily pass 3 subjects in 6 months. Student can't move next till the 9 subjects have passed. Its papers are conducted after each 6 months.
After passing 9 subjects, Students will join Chartered Accountancy Firm for training for a period of 3.5 years. During this period, Students can sit in exams after 1.5 years and clear their papers of next stage.

This Profession Promises a secure Life. One gets a Job easily which secure financial status.
