| Eligiblity: Qualification (For Direct Recruitment): - Through the W.B. Health Recruitment Board among the Medical Graduates who have passed MBBS and have received the Permanent Registration No. from WBMC / MCI.
Academic & Experience: - MBBS Degree from MCI recognized University in accordance with the regulation made by the Medical Council of India and included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956).
- Weightage will be given to candidates holding recognized Postgraduate Degree the disciplines under the Specialities Group and recognized Post Doctoral Degree (for disciplines under the Super Specialities Group) in the concerned discipline in accordance with the “Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations,1998” framed by the Medical Council of India, published in Part-III, Section-4 of the Gazette of India, dated the 5 th day of December,1998, as subsequently amended, and which are included in the First or Second or Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act,1956(102 of 1956).

| Age limit: - Not more than 45 years as on 1st. January, 2020 i.e. relaxation may be given to such doctors who have served under this State Government to an extent equivalent to the period of such service, subject to a maximum of five years.
- Provided that age may be relaxable for the candidates belonging to the categories of SC, ST and Other Backward Classes as per Government Rules or Orders issued from time to time.

- Candidates must fulfill the essential qualification by the closing date. All information regarding selection/ recruitment (date of examination, date of interview etc.) to the post will be available, time to time in the Board Website at www.wbhrb.in.

| Application Fee: - Candidates must submit online the application fee amounting to Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only through GRIPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal under the Head of Account ‘0051-00-104-002-16’. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. shall not be acceptable.
- No application shall be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under Disabilities Rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) are not required to pay any fee.
- Such exemption of fee is, however, not applicable to any OBC (category A or B) candidate.
