 Context★ The poet glorifies spiritual beauty and says that true beauty is everlasting. He praises beauty of mind and soul and rejects physical beauty as devoid of virtues.

Explanation★ The poet days that true beauty lies in a smooth and firm mind, gentle thoughts and calm desires. A women with a constant and stable mind, with noble thoughts and simple desires will always be a source of inspiration. These qualities will make her virtuous. The love generate by virtuous minds and loving hearts is everlasting.

A love, based on such virtuous, will never fade away. It will go on inspiring its lover with renewed feelings. The poet, thus, praises the beauty of mind and soul and condemns mere bodily charms.
