Neet 2021 Application Form - Preparation to fillup form correctly with important documents

I'm giving you strict advised to keep important documents and details ready before going for the registration of the Neet 2021 exam. I informed you so that you will not make any mistakes in your Neet exam registration.

Important things to keep ready while filling the NEET application form 2021 are as follows...

1. A valid Mobile Number (your or your parents)

2. A valid Email Address

3. 10th & 12th class Marksheet, certificate & school details

4. A photo-identity proof like Aadhaar Card number, Passport Number, ration card number, bank account or any other valid Govt identity proof

5. Your scanned images of passport-sized photograph, and signature and other documents (if ask)

6. Credit or Debit card or Net Banking details (for online payment)

NEET Document Specifications

Photograph:- Passport size photographs with white background and name of the candidate, date of birth and date of the photo (if ask)

Size - 10 Kb to 100 Kb

Format - JPG

Signature:- Sign with a black pen with a white background and signature must not be in capital letters

Size - 3 Kb to 20 Kb

Format - JPG

I will teach you all the steps for Neet registration in this section. My advice to all the students is that please follow these steps to avoid making mistakes while filling up the NEET 2021 application form.

Step 1 - Registration For Neet

To register for the NEET 2021 exam, aspirants must enter their full name, email Id and mobile number. A password must also be created as per the given specifications which will be the password for all future login. A provisional NEET application number (unique for everyone) will be generated after completing the registration process. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to login for your account.

The following details must be entered during NEET 2021 registration:-

Candidate's Name

Mother's Name

Father's Name

Date of Birth

Gender

Nationality

State of Eligibility

Category

Person with Disabilities

Identification Type

Identification Number

Mobile Number

Email ID

To complete the registration process, candidates must verify the above details and then click on the submit button.

Choose Password:- The next step would be to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question and chose the answer. Keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.

Now, OTP Verification:- This is a mandatory step in NEET 2021 registration where candidates must click on the OTP verification to verify the same. They must use the OTP sent to their registered mobile number.

Generation of Provisional Application Number of NEET 2021 - With successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down as it is the login ID for all future logins.

Step 2 - Filling up the NEET 2021 application form

It is necessary to fill details as mentioned in your 10th class mark sheet. So I advise you to keep your 10th class mark sheet or certificate in hand while filling the application form of NEET 2021.

The other details to be filled in the NEET 2021 application form are:-

Section 1. Personal Details - Some details from Registration will be auto displayed and these cannot be changed. However, many other details are to be filled in the NEET application form as follows

Mother’s and Father’s Name - auto-generated from registration

Gender - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the application correction

Category - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction

Date of Birth - auto-generated from registration

Persons with a disability - auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction

Section 3. Choice of Medium of Question Paper

The medium of the Neet question paper will have to be chosen from all the languages available. Candidates can choose from English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu. It is to be noted that with the exception of English, Hindi, and Urdu, other languages option is available only if the NEET 2021 exam center chosen is in the state of origin of that particular language.

The list of 256 exam cities will be given as a drop-down list. Candidates must choose at least four exam centers in the order of their preference.

Section 8. Permanent Address

Candidates must provide their residential address in the NEET 2021 application form.

Mobile number and Email ID are automatically displayed from registration details.

Section 9. Correspondence Address - Candidates can enter the details or opt to show their permanent address as the one for correspondence.

Section 10. Details of Parents/ Guardian – Here, candidates must fill the details of their parents like qualification, occupation and annual income

Section 11. Do you intend to wear a customary dress contrary to the Dress code while appearing for the exam? Candidates who have traditional dress compulsions must opt for this else indicate “no”.

Section 12. Enter security pin and submit – Candidates must enter the given security pin and submit the details.

Now the final review of your NEET 2021 Application Form:- 

It is too important that candidates review all details before final submission to be sure of its acceptance and avoid unnecessary worry and stress on account of silly mistakes made in the NEET 2021 registration form and wait for correction facility.

Step 3 - Uploading of scanned documents and images

After filling out the details in the application form of NEET 2021, the next step is to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as specified.

Photograph:- It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and date of photograph with the date of birth underneath the image (if ask). Size of the file can be 10 KB to 100 KB in JPEG format.

Signature:- This must be done with a black ink pen on the white paper background and should be scanned to a file with size 3 KB to 20 KB in JPG format.

Step 4 - Payment of NEET 2020 Application Fee

NEET 2021 application form fees can be paid in both offline or online modes:-

For Online Payment:- Through Debit/Credit/ Net Banking

For Offline Payment:- Through E-challan of SBI bank (or other if option available). Candidates must opt for the offline payment, download the E-challan and go to the nearest SBI bank and pay the fee in cash within banking hours. Fee payment can be done till December 31, 2020 (Exp), which is also the last date for filling in the NEET 2021 application form. You must ensure that the bank stamp and official’s signature are there on their copy of the E-challan after payment as proof of the fees paid. I also advise you to scan this and safely keep it till admissions are completed.

Note:- Keep the proof of your payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment or stamped E-challan (candidate’s copy) safe till admission is complete because you don't know in which time you will need this, so just for safety.

Step 5 - Printing all NEET receipts

Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgment receipt will be generated. This means that the application for NEET 2021 has been successfully submitted.

A copy of the NEET confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well as the mobile number of the candidates so you can download them anytime.

If you forget your password then, How to retrieve the password for NEET application form?

For that, we have two methods of retrieving it. However, before going to that, there are a few steps they must follow by you.

Information about Neet 2021 correction window:-

The correction window for the NEET 2021 application form will be tentatively opened by NTA in the second week of January 2021. Candidates must use the NEET application form correction guide to edit the mistakes made or incorrect details entered in the application form by the specified date. To make the changes and use the NEET 2021 correction window, candidates must login by entering their NEET application number and password. The following details can be corrected in the NEET 2021 application form.

Once the application form of NEET 2021 is displayed, candidates can edit any field in it.

After making the relevant corrections in the NEET application form 2021, click on 'Preview and Submit'

An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates.

Enter the OTP number and click on 'Final Submit'

A warning message will pop-up on the screen, which asks, 'This is the one-time correction facility, no correction will be allowed after final submission. Do you wish to submit the corrected application form finally?'

Click on 'Please do' to submit the corrections or else click on 'oops no' to go back and make some other corrections.

After submitting the corrections, the NEET application correction slip will be displayed on the screen with the corrected information.

Correction of Image Discrepancy in NEET 2021 application form:-

Any modifications or corrections to the photograph/signature can be done using the facility given by NTA after January 31, 2021. Candidates must follow the steps below to correct any discrepancies in their photograph or signature uploaded with the NEET application form 2021.

The option to upload the photograph/signature will be displayed on the screen.

Upload the correct images as per the given specifications.

Verify once before submitting it

After submission, an OTP number will be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidates

After the given OTP number is entered, the NEET correction slip will be displayed on the screen.

It is advised to safe keep this printout for future reference.
