Ans.The cat, lead, the life of luxury. He was fed with Salmon and Caviar. He slept on feather pillows before a fire.

Q2. Why did the cat feel a need to leave the comforts of the house?

Ans.The cat felt a need to leave the comforts of the house because he thought that there was paradise outside his house. Whenever he looked outside of his window, he could see cats across the way romping and dancing so he wanted to live the life of those cats on the rooftops.
