Suppose, you are Mrittika Roy, the General Secretary of Students' Union of Shyampur College, Rangpur. In a meeting of Students' Union the students express a desire to arrange a cultural function in the college. As a representative of the students of your college, I beg to state that there are many young talents among us. If they get proper guidance and training, they will be able to develop their latent faculties. They will get some opportunities to express their skills. So we have a mind to arrange a cultural function in our college in which the students will take part.

I, therefore, fervently pray and hope that you would be kind enough to give us permission to hold a cultural function in the college premises.
