Important Notes on Noun

Note-1: The person or place with which the similarity is imagined is common noun to mean similarity.

 Examples:
✪ Paris is the Los Angeles of France.
✪ There are many Toms in our country.
 ✪ A Romeo is coming.
✪ Mujib is the Gandhi of Bangladesh.

Note:
We can keep in mind that if a determiner is used before a Noun that has no determiner before it, then it becomes a Common Noun instead of a Proper Noun.

 Examples:
 ✪ A Gandhi is coming.
✪ You are Mr. Bean, I see.
 ✪ I see, you are a Byron.

Note-2: Sometimes Common Nouns become Abstract Nouns.  Article usually does not precede the Common Nouns of Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, etc.
But these nouns are used as abstract nouns to express the qualities of a person.

Structure: The + Common noun + preposition (in).

In this case Common Noun is Abstract Noun.

 Examples:
✪ The mother rose in her to see the orphan boy.
✪ The beast in the man should be checked.
✪ Check the beast in you.
