Some Basic Points & Uses of Rules
इस पोस्ट में आप यहाँ वाक्य के कर्ता के विभिन्न रूपो के बारे में अध्ययन करेंगे । कर्ता कोई Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Infinitive, Gerund, Phrase या clause हो सकता है ।
1. Noun as Subject
राम खाता है । Ram eats.
लड़के पढतें हैं । The boys read.
ईमानदारी सबसे अच्छी नीति है । Honesty is the best policy.
यहाँ Ram, Boys और Honesty "Noun" है जो वाक्य में Subject के रूप मे आए हैं ।
2. Pronoun as Subject
मै पढता हूँ । I read.
वह खाती है । She eats.
वे लोग दौड़ते हैं । They run.
प्रत्येक के पास कलम है । Everyone has a pen.
यहाँ I, She, They और Everyone "Pronoun" है जो वाक्य में Subject के रूप मे आए हैं ।
3. Adjective as Subject
धनी प्रसन्न हैं । The rich are happy.
गरीब दुखी रहते हैं । The poor are sad.
बूढें कमजोर होते हैं । The old are weak.
युवा भ्रमित हैं । The young are misguided.
रोगी लाचार होते हैं । The sick are helpless.
क्या रोगी लाचार होते हैं । Are the sick are helpless.
यहाँ धनी, गरीब, बूढे, युवा और रोगी विशेषण ( Adjective ) हैं जो वाक्य मे कर्ता के रूप मे आए हैं ।। ऐसे कर्ता का अनुवाद Adjective के पहले the लगाकर किया जाता है ।
Note :
1. Adjective के पहले the लगाना आवश्यक है ।
2. rich का riches, poor का poors इत्यादि बनाकर यहाँ प्रयोग ना करें ।
3. The rich, The poor, The youth इत्यादि सदा Plural Number में रहते हैं तथा इनके साथ हमेशा Plural Verb का ही प्रयोग होगा ।

बूढें लाचार हैं ।
The old are helpless.
धनी बेईमान हैं ।
The rich are dishonest.
गरीब ईमानदार होते हैं ।
The poor are honest.
अंधे नहीं देखते हैं ।
The blind don't see.
गूँगे नहीं बोल सकते हैं ।
The dumb can't speak.
गरीब मर रहे हैं ।
The poor are dying.
धनी गरीब का शोषण करते हैं ।
The rich exploit the poor.
रोगी लाचार होते हैं ।
The sick are helpless.
गरीब उन्नति नहीं करेंगे ।
The poor will not progress.
क्या धनी हमेशा धनी रहेंगे ?
Will the rich always be rich ?
जवान बूढें की मदद क्यों नहीं करते हैं ?
Why do the young not help the old ?
क्या गरीब हमेशा गरीब रहेंगे ?
Will the poor always be poor ?
क्या बहरे नहीं बोल सकते हैं ?
May the deaf not speak ?
क्या शिक्षित अशिक्षित को धोखा दे रहे हैं ?
Are the educated cheating the uneducated ?
जवान और बूढे एक साथ काम क्यों नहीं करते ?
Why do the young and the old not work together ?
क्या गरीब वास्तव में गरीब हैं ?
Are the poor really poor.
क्या गरीब इस समाज में नहीं रह सकते हैं ?
Can't the poor live in this society ?
क्या बूढे लाचार होते हैं ?
Are the old useless ?
धनी क्यों घमंडी हैं ?
Why are the rich proud ?
युवा कैसे भ्रमित हैं ?
How are the young misguided ?
4. Infinitive and Gerund as Subject
Infinitive : Verb के पहले to लगाकर infinitive बनाया जाता है । जैसे to go, to walk, to play, etc
Gerund : Verb मे ing जोड़कर gerund बनाया जाता है । जैसे
Eat + ing = Eating
Play + ing = Playing
Note : जब हिंदी के वाक्यों के कर्ता, क्रिया ( Verb ) से बने होते हैं । तब ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद Infinitive या Gerund का प्रयोग Subject के रूप मे किया जाता है । जैसे
खेलना लाभदायक है ।
To play is useful.
Playing is useful.
झूठ बोलना पाप है ।
To tell a lie is a sin.
Telling a lie is a sin.
अँग्रेजी सीखना आसान है ।
To learn English is easy.
Learning English is easy.
ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद इस प्रकार से भी किया जाता है ।
खेलना लाभदायक है ।
It is useful to play.
झूठ बोलना पाप है ।
It is a sin to tell a lie.
अँग्रेजी सीखना आसान है ।
It is easy to learn english.
अर्थात अगर हिंदी वाक्यों के कर्ता, क्रिया ( Verb ) से बने हो, तो ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद उपर्युक्त तीनो विधियों से किया जा सकता है । जैसे
खेलना लाभदायक है ।

Playing is useful.
It is useful to play.
झूठ बोलना पाप है ।
To tell a lie is a sin.
Telling a lie is a sin.
It is a sin to tell a lie.
अँग्रेजी सीखना आसान है ।
To learn English is easy.

सच बोलना कठिन है ।
To speak the truth is difficult.
Speaking the truth is difficult.
