जे.सी.बोस विश्वविद्यालय में राज्यपाल बंडारू दत्तात्रेय दीक्षांत समारोह में प्रदान करेंगे उपाधियां

फरीदाबाद ( abtaknews.com ) 07अक्टूबर,2021: ​विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में असाधारण विशिष्टता रखने वाले व्यक्तियों को सर्वोच्च सम्मान देने की महत्वपूर्ण पहल करते हुए जे.सी. बोस विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, वाईएमसीए, फरीदाबाद दीक्षांत समारोह के उपलक्ष में मानद उपाधि प्रदान करने की एक नई परंपरा शुरू करने जा रहा है। 

इस संबंध में विश्वविद्यालय ने दो विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों को पीएचडी की मानद उपाधि प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया है। इनमें पहला नाम प्रतिष्ठित एयरोस्पेस वैज्ञानिक डॉ जी सतीश रेड्डी का है जोकि रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (डीआरडीओ) के अध्यक्ष हैं, और दूसरे नाम फरीदाबाद के सफल उद्यमी एवं सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता श्री नवीन सूद का है। श्री सूद वी. जी. इंडस्ट्रीज, फरीदाबाद के चेयरमैन हैं तथा विश्वविद्यालय जोकि पहले वाईएमसीए इंजीनियरिंग संस्थान था, के पूर्व छात्र भी हैं। इन विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों को पीएचडी की मानद उपाधि हरियाणा के राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय जोकि जो विश्वविद्यालय के कुलाधिपति भी हैं, के द्वारा 8 अक्टूबर, 2021 को विश्वविद्यालय के तीसरे दीक्षांत समारोह के दौरान प्रदान की जायेगी। 

इस आशय की जानकारी देते हुए कुलपति प्रो. दिनेश कुमार ने बताया कि जे.सी. बोस विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा पीएचडी की मानद उपाधि असाधारण विशिष्ट व्यक्तियों को विज्ञान, प्रौद्योगिकी, नवाचार और राज्य अथवा राष्ट्र के सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास, समाज या जीवन के किसी अन्य क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियों के लिए मान्यता स्वरूप दिया जाने वाला सर्वोच्च शैक्षणिक सम्मान है। 

भारत के रक्षा और वैज्ञानिक क्षेत्रों में डॉ. जी सतीश रेड्डी का नाम सम्मान से लिया जाता है। मिसाइल प्रणालियों में उनके अनुसंधान और विकास कार्य ने एयरोस्पेस प्रौद्योगिकियों और एवियोनिक्स जैसे क्षेत्रों में देश की प्रगति में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है। डॉ. जी सतीश रेड्डी को स्वदेशी तकनीकों को विकसित करने उनकी सोच और क्षमता के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने ऐसी प्रणालियों के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है जो एक मिसाइल को हाइपरसोनिक वेग से 300 किमी दूर एक उपग्रह तक ले जाती हैं। वह मिसाइलों और रणनीतिक प्रणालियों, लड़ाकू विमानों और मानव रहित हवाई रक्षा प्रणालियों, अंडरवाटर सिस्टम, रडार सिस्टम, रणनीतिक सामग्री, आयुध और भविष्य की प्रौद्योगिकियों से संबंधित रक्षा कार्यक्रमों का नेतृत्व कर रहे है। वह वैमानिकी विकास एजेंसी के महानिदेशक भी हैं, जिसने चौथी पीढ़ी के हल्के लड़ाकू विमान तेजस को विकसित किया है। डॉ जी सतीश रेड्डी को मिसाइल और एयरोस्पेस के क्षेत्रों में अनुसंधान तथा वायु रक्षा प्रणालियों के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान और विकास का नेतृत्व करने के लिए पीएचडी की मानद उपाधि प्रदान की जा रही है। 

इसी तरह फरीदाबाद के प्रतिष्ठित उद्यमी श्री नवीन सूद वी. जी. इंडस्ट्रीज के चेयरमैन के रूप में एक ऐसी कंपनी का नेतृत्व कर रहे है, जोकि ऑटोमोटिव पार्ट्स और कंपोनेंट्स की एक अग्रणी आपूर्तिकर्ता कंपनी है। श्री सूद को उनकी व्यावसायिक नेतृत्व क्षमताओं के लिए जाना जाता है। उन्होंने एक छोटी सी विनिर्माण इकाई से शुरूआत करते हुए एक हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का कारोबार करने वाली कंपनी को खड़ा किया है, जिसमें पांच हजार से ज्यादा लोगों को रोजगार मिल रहा है।

इसके अलावा, श्री नवीन सूद कई अन्य सामाजिक एवं परोपकारी गतिविधियां में भी लगे हुए है। फाउंडेशन अगेंस्ट थैलेसीमिया, खुशी एक एहसास जैसे सामाजिक धर्मार्थ ट्रस्ट के लिए उनका कार्य सराहनीय रहा है। श्री सूद वाईएमसीए माॅब एलुमनी एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष भी हैं, जिसे 1985 में स्थापित किया गया था। बिजनेस लीडर के रूप में विश्व स्तरीय विनिर्माण कार्यों तथा परोपकारी गतिविधियों में उनके योगदान के लिए विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा उन्हें पीएचडी की मानद उपाधि से सम्मानित किया जा रहा है।

दीक्षांत समारोह की विवरणिका का विमोचन किया

कुलपति प्रो. दिनेश कुमार ने 8 अक्टूबर को आयोजित तृतीय दीक्षांत समारोह से एक दिन पहले सुविधाओं का जायजा लिया तथा दीक्षांत समारोह की विवरणिका का विमोचन किया। कुलपति ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि दीक्षांत समारोह की कार्यवाही को लेकर सभी शैक्षणिक प्रोटोकोल की अनुपालना सुनिश्चित की जाये। दीक्षांत समारोह में हिस्सा ले रहे विद्यार्थियों ने आज पूर्वाभ्यास में भी हिस्सा लिया।

Faridabad business leader Navin Sood also to receive Honorary Ph.D. Degree

Faridabad(abtaknews.com) 7 October – In a significant move to give honour to the individuals with exceptional distinction, the JC Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA, Faridabad is going to start a new tradition of conferring honorary degrees in the third Convocation.

In this regard, the University has decided to confer on Honorary Degree of PhD to two distinguished personalities; one is prominent aerospace scientist Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Chairman of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and other one is successful business leader Mr. Navin Sood, the Chairman of Vee Gee Industries, Faridabad, who is also an alumnus of YMCAIE, now known as JC Bose University. Honorary Degree of Ph.D. will be conferred on these distinguished personalities by Haryana Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatreya who is also the Chancellor of the University, during the third convocation of the University on October 8, 2021.

While giving information to this effect, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar said that the honorary doctorate degree is the highest form of recognition to be offered by JC Bose University to persons of exceptional distinction in the field of science, technology, innovation and/or social-economical development of the State or Nation or exceptional contributions to society or lifetime achievement in their field.

Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy is a renowned personality in India’s defence and scientific circles. His research and development work in missile systems has made a significant contribution towards India’s advancement in fields like aerospace technologies and avionics. Known for his vision and capability to develop indigenous technologies, Dr. Reddy has played a pivotal role in the development of systems that guide a missile, travelling at hypersonic velocity, to a satellite 300 km away. He guides the development of major programs on missiles and strategic systems, fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial defence systems, underwater systems, radar systems, strategic materials, armaments, and futuristic technologies. He is also the Director General of the Aeronautical Development Agency that has developed the 4th Generation Light Combat Aircraft Tejas, which is being inducted into active service. The Honorary Degree of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is being awarded to Dr G Satheesh Reddy for his contributions to research in the areas of Missiles and Aerospace, and for his leadership towards the research and development in the field of Air Defence systems.

The Vee Gee Industries led by Mr. Navin Sood, is a top supplier of Automotive Parts and Components. Mr. Sood is known for his business leadership abilities. He is responsible for growing a small manufacturing unit to an Auto Component manufacturing behemoth with turnover of over one thousand crores and a workforce of more than five thousand persons. Sh. Navin Sood wears many hats in his social and philanthropic activities. His support for social charitable trust like foundation against Thalassemia, KhusiEkAhsaas has been well acknowledged. Mr. Sood is also the President of YMCA MOB Alumni Association which was established in 1985. VC took stock of the facilities

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dinesh Kumar took stock of the facilities a day before the convocation which is to be held on 8th October. The Vice Chancellor also released the brochure of the convocation. He directed the officials of the University to ensure compliance of all educational protocols regarding the proceedings and procession of the convocation. The students participating in the convocation also took part in the rehearsal today.
