Is Am Are Basic Points And Rules
Negative Sentences नाकारात्मक वाक्य
अब कुछ ऐसे वाक्यों को देखें जो नाकारात्मक होते हैं । अर्थात जिनमें नहीं लगा हुआ होता है । जैसे
1. मै खुश नहीं हूँ ।
2. मै डॉक्टर नहीं हूँ ।
ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद is/am/are के बाद not लगाकर किया जाता है । जैसे
Subject + Is/Am/Are + not + Complement.
Examples :
मैं बुरा नहीं हूँ । I am not bad.
तुम चालाक नहीं हो । You are not clever.
हमलोग पागल नहीं हैं । We are not mad.
राम गरीब नहीं है । Ram is not poor.
वे लोग ईमानदार नहीं हैं । They are not honest.
लड़कें तैयार नहीं हैं । The boys are not ready.
मै डॉक्टर नहीं हूँ । I am not a doctor.
हमलोग किसान नहीं हैं । We are not farmers.
तुम एक डाकिया नही हो । You are a postman.
आपलोग अभियंता नहीं हैं । You are not engineers ?
राम और रवि उपस्थित नहीं है । Ram and Ravi are not present.

Translate Hindi Into English
मै बीमार नहीं हूँ । 9 am not ill.
मैं तैयार नहीं हूँ । 9 am not ready.
हमलोग बेईमान नहीं हैं । we are not dishonest.
हमलोग पागल नहीं हैं । We are not mad.
तुम भूसे नहीं हो । you are not hungry.
तुमलोग गलत नहीं हो । you are not wrong.
आपलोग गरीब नहीं हैं । you are not poor.
वह डरपोक नहीं है । He is not timid.
वह अच्छी नहीं है । she is not good.
सीता कुरूप नहीं है। Sita is not ugly.
वे लोग मूर्ख नहीं हैं । They are not foolish.
पिताजी तैयार नहीं हैं । father is not ready.
बच्चे भूखें नहीं हैं । the children are not hungry.
राम और श्याम तैयार नहीं है । Ram and shyam are not ready
मैं चोर नहीं हूँ 1 9 am not a thief.
तुम विद्यार्थी नहीं हो । you are not a student.
आप एक डॉक्टर नहीं हैं । you not a doctor.
वह एक कलाकार नहीं है । He is not an artist.
गीता एक नर्स नहीं है । Geeta is not a nurse.
हमलोग नौकर नहीं हैं । we are not servants.
आपलोग किसान नहीं हैं । you are not farmers
वे लोग शिक्षक नहीं हैं । they are not teachers.
रामू और गोपी नेता नहीं हैं । Ramu and Gopi are not leaders.
Interrogative Sentences : प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य
कुछ प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य "क्या" से शुरू होते हैं ।। ऐसे वाक्यों का अनुवाद Subject के अनुसार Am/Is/Are से शुरू करें। जैसे
Is/Am/Are + Subject + Complement ?
Is/Am/Are + Subject + not + Complement ?
क्या मै अंधा हूँ ? Am I blind.
क्या हमलोग गरीब हैं ? Are we poor ?
