Research Assistant (2 posts) in the Department of English

Appointees will be responsible for overall project planning and implementation of the research project and training workshops.  Duties include coordinating meetings with relevant parties; providing logistical support; conducting literature review; developing teaching and learning materials; performing data entry and data analysis; assisting the training and preparing online final report; and performing any other duties assigned.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies/Medicine/Public Health/Social Sciences or related disciplines; and no more than a total of 6 years of service at the University.  Candidates should have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  They should have a background of linguistics, medical or related areas, plus at least 1 year of working experience.  Fresh graduates in related areas are encouraged to apply.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
