Sessional Instructor - FNCE 653 (Winter 2022), Haskayne School of Business

 


The Haskayne School of Business is accepting applications for a Sessional Instructor to co-teach the following course in the area of Finance during the Winter 2022 Term. The co-instructor (50%) must be willing to work collaboratively, all lectures will be taught by both instructors.

The lecture sessions would be one-half day on either Friday or Saturday, every second week, from January 21 to May 7, 2022 unless otherwise posted.

FNCE 653 - Problems in Financial Management 

The application of financial management principles to real-world problems in the corporate sector, including such areas as working capital management, project financing, debt vs. equity financing, payout policy and reorganization. Based on case studies and company presentations, supplemented with mini-lectures and guest speakers.

Qualifications:

  • Must have previous experience teaching at the Executive MBA level.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Haskayne EMBA program is considered an asset.
  • Must be available to meet with EMBA students outside the normal working hours for individual assistance.

Any additional information including teaching evaluations for courses you may have taught previously, a tentative course outline, a statement of teaching philosophy, and any restrictions (e.g. scheduling constraints) that you might have would strengthen your application and help in the selection process.
