UPSC Recruitment 2021 Vacancy Details :
1. Name of the Post : Associate Professor (Electrical Engineering)
No. of Posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 40 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Degree with first class in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and eight years' experience in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of a lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent in obtaining the research degree
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
(b) Significant professional work that can be considered equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering and eight years industrial/professional experience in a post equivalent to the level of Lecturer.
Experience:- Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period of obtaining the research degree.
2. Name of the Post : Associate Professor (Electronics and Communication Engineering)
No. of Post : 1 (OBC-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 43 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Degree with first class in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and eight years' experience in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent in obtaining the research degree
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
(b) Significant professional work that can be considered equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and 8 years industrial/professional experience at the level of Lecturer equivalent.
Experience:- Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period of obtaining the research degree.
3. Name of the Post : Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering)
No. of Posts: 2 (SC-01, UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 40 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with first class degree and eight years' experience in teaching, research and/or industry
The level of a lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent in obtaining the research degree
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
(b) Significant professional work that can be considered equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Mechanical Engineering and eight years industrial/professional experience in a post equivalent to the level of Lecturer.
Experience: Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of a lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent on obtaining the research degree
4. Name of the Post : Associate Professor (Metallurgy/Production Engineering)
No. of Posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 40 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Degree with first class in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgy/Production Engineering and eight years teaching, research and/or industry experience at the level of lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent in obtaining the research degree
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Metallurgy/Production Engineering.
(b) Significant professional work that can be considered equivalent to a Ph.D. Degree in Metallurgy/Production Engineering. and eight years industrial/professional experience in a post equivalent to the level of Lecturer.
Experience: Eight years in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of a lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period of obtaining the research degree.
5. Name of the Post : Tutor in Nursing College
No. of Posts: 10 (SC-02, OBC-05, EWS-02, UR-1705)
Department: Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital, New Delhi, Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
Age Limit: 35 Years.
Educational qualification:
(a)
(i) Master's degree in Nursing from a recognized University or Institute or
(ii) B.Sc. Nursing or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing with one year experience in Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
(b) Registered as Nurse and Mid-wife with the Central or State Nursing Council.
6. Name of the Post : Professor (Control System)
No. of Posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 50 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering / Embedded Systems Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering / Control and Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical Engineering with first class degree and ten years of teaching, research and / or industry experience, out of which At least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Control Systems Engineering / Embedded Systems Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Control and Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
(b) Significant professional work that can be considered equivalent to a Ph.D. Ten years degree in Control Systems Engineering / Embedded Systems Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Control & Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical Engineering and Industrial / Professional experience, out of which at least five years at the senior level of Assistant Professor / Reader.
Experience: Ten years in teaching, research and/or industry, out of which at least five years at the level of Assistant Professor/Reader or equivalent grade.
7. Name of the Post : Associate Professor (Computer Science)
No. of Posts: 1 (UR-01)
Department: Integrated Headquarters, Directorate of Civilian Personnel, Ministry of Defense
Age Limit: 40 Years.
Educational qualification:
(i) a Ph.D. Degree with first class in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science and eight years' experience in teaching, research and/or industry at the level of a lecturer or equivalent grade, excluding the period spent in obtaining the research degree
Or
(ii) If the candidate is from Industry and Profession, the following shall be considered mandatory:
(a) First Class Master's Degree in Computer Science.
