Adverbial clause of cause (Misplaced Words)

এ ধরনের  subordinate clause, Principal clause-এর আগে কিংবা পরে বসতে পারে। যেমন,

As he was ill, he could not go there.

He wears torn clothes, because he is poor.

কিন্তু কোন কাজের কারণকে অন্যভাবে প্রকাশ করা যায়। নীচের বাক্য দু'টি লক্ষণীয়:

This is the reason why he failed his exam. 

It is because of his illness that he could not attend the party.

এই বাক্য দু'টির subordinate clause-কে কোনক্রমেই বাক্যের অগ্রভাগে নিয়ে আসা যাবে না। যেমন,

Wrong: Why he failed his exam this is the reason. 

Wrong: That he could not attend the party it is because of his illness.
