Name of the Batch : August 2022 Batch
Salary and Allowances: During the initial training period, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month will be admissible. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of Defense Pay Matrix (₹21,700- ₹69,100). In addition, they will get MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus 'X' Group Pay {only for Artificer Apprentice (AA)} @ ₹ 3600/- per month plus DA (as applicable). will be paid. Under Trainee and ₹ 6200/- per month plus DA on successful completion of AICTE recognized Diploma Course.
Eligibility Criteria of Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2022
Marital Status : Only Male Unmarried Candidates are eligible for these sailor vacancy of indian Navy.
Educational qualification:
(a) AA :- Passed in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/ from a Board of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education Computer Science, Government of India.
(b) SSR :- Passed in 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from a Board of School Education recognized by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 2002 to 31 Jul 2005 (both dates inclusive).
Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment Selection Process 2022
The shortlisting of candidates will be based on the aggregate percentage obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) with Physics, Mathematics and at least one of these subjects- Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science. State wise shortlisting will be done in the ratio of four times the number of vacancies.
The cut off marks may vary from state to state as the vacancies are allotted in a state wise manner. Shortlisted candidates will be issued a call-up letter for written test and PFT.

The details of the written examination to be conducted to select the eligible candidates for this recruitment are given below.
Medium of Examination: The question paper will be bilingual - Hindi and English.
Question Type: The questions will be of objective type.
Syllabus: The question paper consists of four sections i.e. English, Science and Mathematics and General Knowledge. All questions will be 12th level questions.
Duration of Exam: The duration of AA & SSR exam will be of one hour.
Maximum Marks: The maximum marks of the said exam will be 100 marks.

# Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
Qualifying in the Physical Fitness Test is mandatory for selection. The details of PFT are given below.
Running: Candidates will have to complete a 1.6 km run within 7 minutes.
Squats and Push-ups: Candidates have to complete 20 Squats (Uthak Sitting) and 10 Push-ups.
