Noun Adjectives (Misplaced Words)

যখন কোন noun বিশেষণের মত অন্য একটি noun কে modify করে তখন তাকে noun adjective বলা হয়। 

Noun adjective হচ্ছে সেই শব্দ যা originally noun কিন্তু adjective-এর মত কাজ করে। এ ধরনের শব্দ সব সময়ই noun এর আগে বসে, কখনোই পরে বসতে পারে না। যেমন,

Right: This is a table fan. 

Wrong: This fan is table.

Right: It is a money bag. 

Wrong: This bag is money.

যখন একটি noun কে modify করার জন্য তার আগে determiner, adjective এবং noun adjective-এই তিন রকম  modifier-ই বসে তখন তাদের ক্রম হবে এ রকম: প্রথমে determiner, তারপর adjective এবং সবশেষে noun adjective যেমন,

Right: This new wrist watch is mine. 

Wrong: This wrist new watch is mine.

Right Those poor village people need our help. 

Wrong: Those village poor people need our help.
