Past vs Passed

Past vs Passed:

Past শব্দটি adjective, noun, preposition এবং adverb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে। যেমন,

I have been ill for the past few days. (adjective) 

He has a glorious past. (noun)

The time is half past five. (preposition)

Days went past without any news. (adverb)

পক্ষান্তরে, passed হচ্ছে "pass" verb-এর past এবং past participle form: যেমন,

He passed the exam.

Severaweeks have passed since he died.

অতএব, past এবং passed এর মধ্যে কোন সম্পর্ক নেই।
