राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के अलावा, जिन शहरों में PM 10 के स्तर में वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है, उनमें अहमदाबाद, अमृतसर, लुधियाना, आगरा, विशाखापत्तनम, गुवाहाटी, जम्मू, श्रीनगर, इंदौर, ठाणे और हैदराबाद शामिल हैं। पर्यावरण राज्य मंत्री अश्विनी चौबे ने राज्यसभा में एक सवाल के जवाब में यह जानकारी दी।
