Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has issued TNPSC AE Recruitment Notification 2022 to fill 625 vacancies such as Assistant Engineer, Junior Electrical Engineer, General Foreman etc. The examination will be conducted as the Combined Engineering Services Examination (CESE).

Essential Qualification:

Candidates applying for these posts should have B.Tech or B.E degree in the relevant field. To get more details, read the detailed notification‌.

Age Limit:

The age limit is considered to be 1 July 2022.
  • Candidates age for Assistant Engineer posts should not exceed 32 years.
  • There is no age limit for candidates in the reserved category.
  • The maximum age limit for automobile engineer posts is 37 years. There is no maximum age limit for reserved category candidates.
Application Fee:

If you have already registered, you do not have to pay the application fee. You can apply for this recruitment using the same registration ID and password.
But if you are a new customer, you will be charged an application fee of Rs. 150 / - to be paid.
Also, candidates have to pay an examination fee of Rs. 200 / - to be paid.

Selection Process:

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) selects eligible candidates for the above posts on the basis of their performance in Paper I and Paper II. Those who qualify for both papers will be selected.
