According to Sindh Transport Minister Mr  Sharjeel Memon in 1st phase of People Bus Service will run from Model Colony via Shahra-e-Faisal Metropole II Chandragar Road Tower.



30 buses will run on the 29 km long route from 7 am to 12 noon with a maximum fare of Rs 50.


Buses will run from North Karachi to Korangi next week, but before August 14, 240 buses will run on all 7 routes in Karachi, while another 130 buses will reach Karachi port this week.

KARACHI: Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto  Zardari will formally inaugurate Karachi People Bus Service today. The bus service will run from Model Colony to Tower.


According to details People Bus Service is being launched in Karachi from today. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will inaugurate People bus service from Model Colony to Tower.


People Bus Ticket Price


240 buses will be run in phases on 7 routes in city. Bus stops have-been made by marking different places on Shahra-e-Faisal.


In this regard Information Minister Mr Sharjeel Memon while talking to media said that special attention will be given to provincial projects for KarachiKarachi will be self sufficient in transport Sindh government will use resources.

Minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon said that petrol & diesel are expensive & people need relief. Bus service will have separate seats for women and senior citizens. Sindh government has signed an agreement with NRTC company for maintenance of buses. Buses will run where  roads are good.
