Dallas Stars To Terminate Forward's Contract

The Stars have placed Yauheni Aksiantsiuk on unconditional waivers for the purpose of a contract termination.

The 21-year-old winger just completed his first professional season in North America, where he split time between the AHL and ECHL. In eight games with the Texas Stars, he scored two goals and had two assists. With the Steelheads, he recorded a solid 34 points in 40 games.

Aksiantsiuk will likely be heading back overseas as a result of this development. Perhaps he will elect to return to Belarus, as he spent the 2020-21 season there. Nevertheless, no matter where he goes, the Stars are parting ways with this prospect.
