Winnipeg Jets Forward Accepts Qualifying Offer

Pierre-Luc Dubois has accepted his one-year, $6 million qualifying offer from the Jets.

Dubois' name has been heating up in the rumor mill, as he has notified Winnipeg that he plans to test the free agency market in 2024. As a result of this, the Jets are expected to move him at some point. However, at least for now, he is heading into the 2022-23 season as a Jet. That certainly could change before the offseason is over, though.

In 81 games this season, Dubois scored 28 goals and recorded 60 points. After a season like that, it makes sense that the 24-year-old is receiving interest from around the league. The Rangers and Canadiens have specifically been linked to the Quebec native, but don't be surprised to hear more clubs enter the sweepstakes as well.
