Archie Battersbee: parents to launch legal bid to move him to a hospice

Trust treating 12-year-old says that life support will be withdrawn at 11am unless an application is filed by 9am

The family of Archie Battersbee said they intend to file an application to the high court to transfer the 12-year-old to a hospice.

Barts Health NHS trust, which runs the Royal London hospital where Archie is being treated, has said his life support will be withdrawn at 11am on Thursday unless an application regarding the hospice move is submitted by 9am.
