Avalanche Sign Forward

The Colorado Avalanche have signed forward Anton Blidh to a one-year, two-way contract worth $750K. 

Blidh played 32 games with the Boston Bruins this past season, scoring two goals and seven assists. In 70 career NHL games, the twenty-seven-year-old has a total of four goals and eight assists.

Blidh is a six-foot-one 200-pound gritty winger who blocks a lot of shots and is an effective penalty killer. He's a feisty forward, hard forechecker, and is good at agitating his opponents.  

He'll provide some forward depth for the Avalanche heading into training camp.
