Asked if Truss should go, Robert Halfon stopped short of calling for her removal, telling Sophy Ridge after a very long pause: “Well, at this time I am not calling fo her to go.”

But he added:

I worry about further political instability, even more economic instability, but things have to improve. I think she need to set out some of the things I have been suggesting.. f things don’t’ change I just things may not be able to carry on in the way they have been.
