The remains of an 18th century Russian statesman have been removed from his tomb in Kherson, according to the latest UK intelligence update.

The intelligence update on Saturday morning said the symbolic removal of Prince Grigory Potemkin’s remains from the cathedral to the east of Dnipro, signals plans from Putin to “expedite withdrawal” from the region.
